The NBA Playoffs start this Saturday! There is still a lot of seeding to be figured out between now and the last game of the season, and the last seed in the West is still up for grabs, but we should know everything after tonight.

This is definitely feeling like the Rockets year. James Harden has been playing on another level and Chris Paul has been a godsend to that team. Harden won’t have to shoulder the entire load like he did last year and they look like a solid play. Especially with the Curry injury. Of course, those two have let down in the playoffs before and we won’t believe it til we see it.
The Cavaliers are always an intriguing play thanks to LeBron James. I don’t love the team as their defense has been one of the worst in the league this season, but they can outscore anyone and they’ve shown in the past few weeks that they are the best team in the East. The Raptors seemed to have peaked too early and they have real question marks surrounding them in the playoffs.
I honestly think it will be the 76ers who meet the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals. They have the third seed so they will avoid Cleveland until then. They draw a favorable first round match-up and then a depleted Celtics team in round two. Crazier things have happened and you have to wonder if this team could win the East. They are +450 at Bovada to do that.
We typically get updated odds on the MVP, Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards as we get closer to the voting so I will be sure to update those as well. Ben Simmons looks like a lock for Rookie as does Harden for MVP, but Donovan Mitchell and LeBron are lurking. LBJ has had one of his best ever seasons and that should not be counted out. Could be interesting voting. Without Kawhi Leonard, the DPOY feels wide open.
So stay tuned to our site, we’ll have a ton of content over the next few days and throughout the playoffs. I’ll also be posting daily betting tips over at NBATips.Net so check that out as well.
