We’re barely a week into the season so thinking about this kind of thing seems stupid, but Bovada posted this prop so let’s take a look at it. Rooting for someone to lose their job is kind of gross, but this is the NBA and it’s a business. Winning is the only thing that matters to some teams and even if it’s not the coach’s fault, someone has to go. 2019 Minnesota Timberwolves Win Total Betting Odds

I have been putting this one off for awhile as I was hoping there would be some sort of resolution to the ugly Jimmy Butler situation. His demand for a trade has definitely created a rift in this franchise that may not be healed. The win total is set at 44.5 wins, but that number seems almost possible for them to come close to. They are either going to be much better (doubtful) or much worse, after a trade. This is one case where talent is being outweighed by the personalities and drama surrounding the team. NBA Division Odds: Pacific, Northwest, Southwest

The NBA Division Odds are out and we already covered the Eastern Conference division odds, now we’ll tackle the West. Last year we saw the Rockets and Warriors almost laughably win their divisions. The Warriors had a 16-game advantage over the second place team and the Rockets had 17-game advantage over the next best team. Those two divisions don’t look to change much, but the Northwest is a different story. Jimmy Butler requests trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves

He has given the team a list of three teams he would like to be traded to: the Knicks, Clippers and Nets. All three teams that would have the kind of cap space needed to give him a max contract.
